The San Antonio Area Association for Bilingual Education (SAAABE) invites you to participate in the 38th Annual SAAABE Conference of Texas on March 2, 2018. The conference will take place at Norris Center, Park North Shopping Center, 618 NW Loop 410 #207, San Antonio, TX 78216 .
The conference will include a keynote speaker, breakfast and lunch, featured presenters, cultural and academic concurrent sessions, vendors, and cultural entertainment by students. In addition, there will be three special institutes: On Friday, the Student Leadership Institute for middle and high school students and the Administrator Institute for school administrators.
The 38th Annual SAAABE Conference, which is one of the premiere ELL conferences in Texas, welcomes conference vendors whose instructional materials and literature focus on English and Spanish as well as ESL/SSL, ELD/SLD and multicultural instruction. Participants of SAAABE are most interested in content area materials and literature for grades PK-16, which directly impact the cognitive, linguistic, and affective components of ELL education, aligned with the newest STAAR guidelines and preparation for college readiness.
